I am an innovator and industrial design architect with an extensive background in creating and producing electronics hardware designs for mission-critical, commercial, medical, and consumer markets. His work primarily focuses on tackling meaningful problems by designing products and user experiences that create business opportunities. With a strong emphasis on industrial design, design research, user experience, and design strategy, I am passionate about leveraging my skills to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.

Principal Staff Innovation Design & Realization / Design Lead 2019- Current

Public Safety Broadband (PSBB) device business

•Oversee design and validation of North America mission-critical communications. Manage end-to-end programs, plan design reviews, assign staff to individual projects, organize innovation sessions.
•Train and support global designers, identify individual work experiences, areas of interest, and readiness for responsibilities including remote designers in Penang, Malaysia and Plantation, FL.
•Identify areas of improvement on product management life cycle, conduct voice of sales and customer sessions, consult with internal stakeholders, and launch end to end customer experience initiative to improve customer satisfaction, speed of deployment, reduce duplicate work and labor costs.
•Partner with competitive analysis team, identify companies as potential disruptors to Motorola’s business. Analyze emerging technologies’ applicability and possible inclusion in Motorola’s devices portfolio. Advice Motorola Solutions Ventures team as a key contributor within the Chief Technology Office, evaluate outside companies’ readiness for
partnership, investment, or acquisition, report findings and make recommendations with business plans and technical assessment.
•Collaborated with internal and external mechanical and electrical engineers and created best practices device component layout and package guidelines and shared with global designers that reduced device size and complexity with the best possible device form factors.
•Created a brand new design language for next-generation smart radio platform that will include a total of 10 two way radios and accessories around 5 years Designed MSI Smart Police Radio platform – APX NEXT, firefighter radio – APX NEXT XE and NFPA certified radio APX NEXT XN for North America public safety market expected sales over 1 million units lifetime realizing around ~$300M revenue per year
•Led customer research through the creation of discussion guides, observational research, prototypes of concepts, synthesis of data. Facilitated workshops to align teams with customer needs while identifying next-generation product opportunities that satisfy purpose-built products for specific vertical markets.
•Led a project to improve factories such as General Motors communication systems integration with private LTE network. Established being a point person working with ODM. Managed schedule and resources, assessed existing processes, and recommended solutions to improve overall ODM processes including communication and aligning with
corporate strategy

Senior Industrial Designer / Design Lead – Radio Products and Accessories 2014- 2019
•Led projects or supported design teams in Penang and Plantation to develop next generation of go-to-market products targeted at specific vertical market segments including the TLK 100 and TLK 150 consumer radios, Evolve, CLK, and DLR business radios, LEX M20 and L11 series mission-critical portable communications, among others.
•Envisioned the future of commercial and public safety communication: Developed handheld device and accessory concepts which utilized both Land Mobile Radio and LTE communications engines with interfaces that explored gestures, voice control, digital touch screens, augmented reality heads-up displays, haptic feedback, biometric sensors,
drones, and black box analytics. Concepts generated shared at the executive level with the CEO and CTO to determine horizon programs for future development and investment.
•Partnered with UI/UX team and developed a new purpose-built Android-based graphical user interface for radio devices and companion accessories. Developed guidelines for the next generation of products based on research, user interface, and stakeholders’ input.
•Created a new vertical market for the CBRS network that includes on-prem LTE devices and accessories for both portable and mobile applications. Collaborated with channel partners and created an online ordering platform to alleviate out of box experience for customers resulted in customer satisfaction, ease of deployment, and reduce labor costs
•Envisioned and developed advanced mission-critical user experiences by using augmented virtual and mixed reality technologies. Projects and demos were shared with the public
around the world such as Hong Kong Public Safety Conference in 2018

• Created new business opportunities for urban mobility working with GM design and business planning departments proposed to executive directors and vice presidents resulted
later as a foundation of GM car-sharing program called Maven.
• Participated in GM brand and design strategy projects based on persona development and consumer research.
• Developed Buick transportation design concepts for the Chinese market based on global and regional trends and end-user insights.

Basarsoft, Ankara Turkey Freelance Industrial Designer/ Design Engineer 2012-2014

• Developed, prototyped and partnered with Chinese vendors for manufacturing. concepts for disabled patients resulted with government founded products and delivered patients in need all around Turkey

• Involved in a variety of both long-term and fast-paced production client projects ranging from kitchen appliances to medical products from concept to finalized product including
research&design brief, ideation, concept creation(2d&3d), idea selection&refinement, 3D CAD surface modeling, prototyping, production, and monitoring.
• Involved in a variety of concept development projects. During that time, our team has won over thirty international design awards.

Apsis, Ankara Turkey Ostim Technocity Sarp Group Ankara Turkey Ostim Technocity Freelance Industrial Designer, 2010 -2011

Apsis is an electronic appliances company marketing in Europe and the Middle East. Sarp Group is an innovative product development company funded by the Turkish ministry.

• Developed Apsis Brand Identity direct report to CEO of the company. Produce contemporary packaging and graphics solutions by product-service categorization. (still in
production after 10 years)
• Led a project that manages fleets by a small communication device that resulted in deployment efficiency and cost for installments.
• Formulated design concepts and be responsible for manufacturing products including GPS and navigation products.

B-Plas (Ford), Bursa Turkey Production Internship, 2010

B-Plas is one of the leading car and household plastic component manufacturers in Europe including Fiat, Ford, Honda, etc.
